I just walked in for take out and never left the front so I don't know what the whole place looks like. I had General Tso's chicken special with fried rice and an egg roll. Of course when traveling, we compare to our favorite place at home. I'm used to seeing and tasting more red pepper honestly. A bit flat. But I also get more grease and salt at home. Not good. This was not greasy or salty at all. Even the egg roll was not greasy and the portion was very generous. I love to eat and I had 2 meals form the one order. My first time here and I rate this as a very dependable take out place. You can watch everything in the very clean kitchen . Very polite service as well.

Your regular neighbourhood Chinese spot. They serve both a lunch and dinner menu at a modest price. The menu is comprised of the most well known fare, and has plenty of something for everyone, even vegetarians. They have a small dining area, and if you want, you can order takeout as we did. Word on the street is that the delivery squad here is on point. We ordered the General Tso's Chicken and were surprised that it was all white meat, nice touch. We also had the Cashew Chicken and while it was tasty, celery seemed to be the main ingredient putting chicken in the backseat, and that was a bit disappointing. All things considered, they have decent average food at a matching price.

Reliably fresh, tasty and timely delivery service. Frequent customer. No reason to go elsewhere.

Unassuming strip mall take out with a good amount of available booths. The dine in caught me off guard. Usually these "dives" are walk up and leave. Maybe there will be a table and two chairs. Sometimes even a hard wood bench table. This place has actual restaurant booths. So anyway, I had the wonton and cashew chicken and brown rice. The wonton soup lacked anything other than broth and wonton. No scallion, no pork, no green leaf thing-a-ma-bobs. No egg roll which I thought I saw it saying it came with. Tons of food for under $9. I ate the soup and maybe 1/3 of the cashew chicken it was too much. There were tons of vegetables and perfect amount of cashews. It could have used some more chicken. The chicken was pretty good. It wasnt the dive takeout chicken that plagues some of these places. You know the kind; after one bite you start looking up "food poison relief" just to be safe. All in all, it is a good find.

Good, quick, affordable, lunch stop. Specials to go for under $6. I've stopped here a few times now trying different dishes, all have been very good & a good value. Drive past the McDonalds, come in to Hunan & get a better meal for less.

Got from them for the first time this past weekend. Great service, fast delivery, the food was good for the area, I feel like the portions could be bigger. But it was not overly greasy, and the chicken was crispy. I would recommend but you wont be blown away.

First time to order here and thought it was great. I got my order for pick up which was Beef and broccoli and sesame seed chicken with fried rice. Total of $23 for dinner All and all great food and was better than most american Chinese places I have been to. Will be going back next time I am craving some orange chicken.

Best Chinese take-out in Florida (of course I'm from the north east)! Gen. Tso's a little spicy like I like it, egg roll w/ the combo + cream cheese rangoons + wonton soup plus my bf's combo all for under $25. Enough leftovers for 2! Delivery took an hour on a Friday night but that's expected. No complaints this time...Will be ordering in again!!! Update: My go-to delivery Chinese! Lunch combos are only $5.95 before 3:00pm!!!

I guess i have higher standards for chinese food because i'm from NYC. This is a good place for quick lunch during your lunch break and the prices are cheap. The food is OK and edible but not great. Fried rice is very bland. i would eat here for lunch but probably not for dinner.

I eat here all the time. Food is always fresh and made quickly. I have been eating here since they opened and I have never had a bad meal. Best Chinese food around.

Good local Chinese delivery!!! Never eaten there but the take out/delivery are good! General tsos is the one thing we get often it's usually very good sometimes the taste/spiciness changes a bit but usually still good! The orange chicken is great as are the crab rangons and egg rolls! They are always timely and courteous :)

Husband got sesame chicken, which he'd give 3 stars. I got the orange beef, which was super crunchy/crisp, but w/ very little beef to be found....2 stars...but the minor case of food poisoning I dealt w/ for next the 2 days makes for the single star...ugh.

Having moved to S. Florida from NJ/NY I was positive that I wouldn't be able to find halfway decent Chinese food. Every place I tried had watered down soup and bland entrees. I had just about given up when I decided to try Hunan Wok. I was surprised to find out that it was actually delicious! Food has texture, flavor and spice when it's supposed to. Prices are super reasonable ($5.95 for a lunch combo, $7.50 for dinner). So glad I found this place- my new go to!

The best Chinese food in the area! I have visited a lot of Chinese restaurants in the delray/boca area and they don't compare in the quality of the food. Fried dumplings are amazing. General tsao chicken, egg foo young and Mongolia chicken are great. Although you're safe to order whatever you want. I always have them delivered and they are very fast and the prices are cheap. If you want to dine in they are in a plaza next to publix. Nothing fancy to dine in at but the food would be good.

Best Chinese food I've ever had. I'm lucky to live close to them so I had not had delivery. Chicken is great quality. Highly recommend.

This is THE place for Chinese take out or delivery, which is FREE! I must be stupid because I am not from NY. This place is awesome. I cannot really think of anything that is not great. Try the mixed soup, the house lo mein, the teriyaki chicken on a stick. Order up a big home delivery and try everything, it is really fresh and good.

Food is fresh. Made in front of you if you walk in and order. It's what you expect and want for Chinese food takeout. Hot and sour soup is good. As are all the dishes we regularly order. Heartily recommend. With last Chinese restaurant pulling by out of East Delray about 2 years ago it's refreshing to have a good reliable consistent place like this.

This place is nasty. OMG! We sat down in this place and ended up throwing our food in the trash and left. All I can say is WOW!

This place is your friendly neighborhood Chinese takeout place. There are 4 booths that suit 4-6 people. The orders are taken at the register and then you either takeout or sit. The menu is on the wall for your convenience. You can see the kitchen and what they are doing which I like. I ordered the General Tao chicken. It comes with fried rice and an eggroll. It is presented in a Bento box. Every bite of the chicken was consistent. Crunchy outside and soft inside. There was just the right amount of sauce on each piece and it was cooked to perfection. The rice was little dry but the soy sauce enhanced the flavor. The eggroll was okay. It was not greasy. It needs Orange sauce. I like the authenticity of the place. Cooks speak Chinese and Mandarin only. The cashier speak English and other languages. I would recommend this place to my friends and would come back here.

Tried ordering over the ph. Person who answered had no idea what was in the dishes or how they were made. Decided to order from someone else Incompetent and definitely did not care to attempt to do his job!

I was surprised when I found a great Chinese food stop close by. I love the general tso chicken. I also love their dumplings. I will be back there is so much food that I can also have some for left overs. Which is great.

Excellent hunan and non-hunan style Chinese. Wonderful taste and speedy delivery. We order from them at least once a week.

I think I found my go to Chinese food restaurant! Delivered hot and fast. Boneless spareribs were particularly good. Meat was fall apart tender and you could tell these we're cut off the bone not just the scraps of pork like a lot of other places serve.

Best Chinese food I have ever had ! I am obsessed with this place , it's defiantly made in a healthier way than all Chinese food take out places , and it is very clean which is hard to find these days .

After living in Los Angeles where the chinese food seems to be even better than mainland China, I did not expect much. The food tastes good and its always piping hot, for delivery I'm impressed. I have no idea about the dining experience as I only get the food delivered. The dishes have the typical American Chinese food names, but are prepared more in line with actual Mainland Chinese cuisine..A plus for me for others may find it odd.

We order take out here about once a month. It's always fast and accurate. The food is cooked and delivered as expected and the prices are very reasonable. Overall you will not be disappointed. They do have a sit down area if you are considering a place for lunch but we usually do take out.

Being a lazy Sunday and not wanting to cook dinner, we stopped in at Hunan Wok to pick up takeout. When first entering the restaurant appeared to be kept very clean, there are booths lining one of the walls. Only 2 patrons were dining so we were a little skeptical and hesitant to order. Soon we noticed the takeout at this location was keeping the staff very busy, orders were coming out left and right... So we decided to order the mongolian chicken & steamed chicken and veggies. Decent portions for the price! Egg roll was a little on the extra greasy side; besides that the food was excellent. I would recommend the Mongolian chicken.

Quick bite nothing crazy. 6.14 for lunch not bad if you only have some limited time to eat. I always ordered the same pork lo mein. It is good but nothing crazy. I have also tried the garlic chicken this one is pretty decent. My problem with this place is that the food never taste the same sometimes is ok sometimes not so good. I guess is good for a quick bite

I had the orange chicken bc of a recommendation from another yelper. It wasn't bad. I think there's too much breading to chicken ratio. The orange chicken dinner did come with a choice of fried, white or brown rice. I had the brown rice. I fell like it's the same as all the brown rice everywhere else. Dry. The food here does feel fresh. My dish came with two pieces of broccoli. The broccoli was fresh. Portions were a bit large but it's hot to have to share if you are eating with a group. Also free delivery over $10.

Had the Mongolian chicken lunch special w/fried rice, egg roll & wonton soup. The chicken was excellent - some of the Chinese places have strange tasting chicken but this was very good. The onions and mushrooms were sautéed to perfection and the fried rice was excellent. The egg roll was very good too. My only complaint was the wonton soup was pretty bland - I have had much better. Prices are very reasonable and the portions are great. Best Chinese food I've had around here. I will definitely be back

Had the sesame chicken lunch special. It comes with fried rice and egg roll for $6.31. You get your monies worth. They give large portions. Enough to share or save for later. The food overall is decent for the price. The fried rice isn't as greasy as some Chinese food places, which is a plus. Although I've had better, I would recommend this place.

Very good - fresh ingredients as stated! Great to be able to see the kitchen and food prep. My husband loved the hot and sour soup- his barometer for good chinese! We have only picked up so can't speak about delivery. Will enjoy again!

Chinese Cuisine

The popularity of Chinese food in America can be adjudicated by the appearance of China Town in many major cities in the United State of America. The popular trend of ordering or opting for Chinese take away food isn't unknown in America. Chinese take away food comes to rescue when you're too tired from work or too exhausted to cook. No one can resist the temptation of eating spicy noodles, shrimp, chicken, beef or pork cooked in the sweet and spicy sauce. The cooking method of authentic Chinese food is a lot different compared to what is served in America.

Generally, Chinese use dark meat small bones and organs to cook dishes but this changes when you are eating American-Chinese fusion food prepared using white boneless meat cooked with broccoli, carrots and onions. Back in China, the food is less spicy and oily as they favor steaming and braising method for cooking the most popular dishes. So, if you have a taste for authentic Chinese food, then try finding a real Chinese restaurant in the city. You can also try the most popular fusion Chinese food like Pecking Duck, Chicken Feet, Hot Pot, Shrimp Dumpling Soup, Mapo Tofu, Wontons, Chop Suey, Egg Rolls and not to forget Fortune Cookies.

There are not many restaurants in America serving authentic Chinese food. A little research on Restaurant Listings directory can help you locate the best Chinese restaurants in the city. Chinese cuisine is continuously evolving, and you can find a variety of dishes categorized as the food for lactose intolerant, gluten intolerant, vegan, vegetarian, and diabetic friendly.
